Dell Dimension 4600 RAM

Hello, I have a "stock" Dell Dimension 4600. I am going to upgrade RAM. I'd like to just keep the 2x256mb RAM in the machine, and add 2x1g cards to the remaining two slots. Can I do that ? or do all the cards have to match, limiting me to just 4 cards of 256mb

hello Sir,

You can do that, but please note that all the ram should be of the same frequency else you will be facing problems

Please contact your Computer store for more details
