Hello,

I have a desk top computer, but when I turn it on it shows the windows XP start up and then the computer screen goes black. what must I do

Just put your windows cd in the drive, enter the bios setting and set boot from cd-drive as first boot device and then restart. When prompt press any key to start the installation of windows and then repair it.
