what you need to do is the following.
open my computer.
hold down the alt key
keep holding the alt key press the T key, still holding the alt key press the O key
What this does is selects the tools menu then the folder options.
in folder options click on the view tab (second from left)
half way down the list (the second folder icon) there's an option to show hidden files or folders. click on it.
select apply then ok.
you should now be able to find the file you were looking for.
