Cant install xp pc dosent read the cd

Hello,
i think i have a virus as my pc started shuting down by itself and then i had to format and replace the windows but after the format pc dosent read any of the xp bootable disc which works fine on other pc s.if i try to load xp with service pack 1 then the modem sys is not copied and thus the installiation has to be stopped pls help i know that it is some virus but cant find it i have tried cureit,avg 7.5 free,kaspersky,spyware terminator etc but no result/luck yet
if anybody can help would be greatful

Hi,
Configure your bios to boot from cd.


And also try to get a good copy and an original windows cd.



Also don't try to upgrade windows -re-install a free copy of it.


Keep in mind that you must have a back up of all your drivers
