Some one help meeee

how come my ps3 turns on but wen i put a game in it does not load the game up
wen i go onto the game menu it shud normally go striaght to the game but it doesnt it doesnt even come up to click on it to play it what has happend and what do i have to do to fix it

please help some one!!!!
