Hello,
=if(a1-b1, c1=0),if (a1>b1,d1= (a1-b1)), if (a1<b1, e1=(a1-b1))

Here is what I want to happen and it is literal. Will you please help me solve it!

Hello can you give a bit more information? what language do you want it? is it a conditions for an excel sheet?
