suppose A1 has date 9/14/09-try this formula
in an empty cell copy paste this formula. In some versions there will be a mess up
so in an empty cell first type single quote(')and then copy paste this formula with not space between single quote and this text
and then highlight this cell delete the leading single quote and ENTER.
