Hello,



My Windows XP had been not functioning properly for the past few months. It would show the splash screen and then restart and I could only boot into Safe mode. I tried many things, and then finally gave up on that since I don't use Windows much any more.

Hello


Without telling us that your current XP is in the 160 GB and the Linux is in the 40 GB disk my prediction is the XP installer cannot recognize your Sata disk because you did not supply a driver up front when it asked you to.

Watch the bottom of the screen next time when you boot up the XP CD.
