Having trouble burning cds

Hello,
Ive got an acer aspire computer and regualrly burn cds up until now its always been fine but a friend gave me some new cds to burn for them and the first 1 burnt ok but the rest im having problems with e.g all the songs said an error occured and the other cds should eject after burnt but arent doing! Ive tried them n none work apart from the first one i did, Please can someone help me as its really annoyed me :) thanx
