I followed the instruction. However my one laptop is running XP and the other Vista. In the XP laptop I went to mycomputer's properties and did not find workgroups. It had find ID button which I clicked on which gave me two options, work network or Home - nothing to do with work. I selected it. It rebooted and now I cannot log on. The message is System cannot log you on. Make sure yr username & domain are correct thentype in password. However it does not provde me with domain selection box, or dropdownlistbox. I have not forgotten my password.
The user & password textboxes are available. It does not give you the option to select domain. It is set at pcid. Thats the reason the Administrator password is required when restarting. U can restart a thousand times. It does not accept the users normal credentials. It was like have no power.
