hey there!
i'm trying to install windows xp pro from usb to my emachine e510. the notebook doesn't have a CD driver so i'm using my flash drive for the installation. I've done all the necessary procedures to make windows xp bootable in usb. At first, the installaitons seems to be working, it formatted the drive and I even made a partitions and all that stuffs....then it copies all the files and etc..then it reboots. but the problem is, installation can not continue because the message is...."hal.dll is missing or corrupted"..I did some expand with the files and also edited boot.ini..but still the problem is still there...is there a hope for this?...hope somebody can help me. I can't use my notebook anymore...please help. THANKS!!
