USB port help on acer laptop

Hello,

i have an acer aspire one laptop and i just plugged in my ipod
to the USB port but now i dont know how to safely remove it and i dont want to just pull it out and risk breaking it!

please help...thankyou

just close the i tunes software then remove your device
