Still not working

Hello,
still working on this THING...no active control set key, registry entry for login service cannot be located, no volume drive c:...this is the newest thing... I cannot get into any safemode options or last known config etc..I can only get into rc mode, and I can get into the bios, also my comp is stuck in vga mode...I know get a new hd..but I really want to save all my jpg, bmps, docs they are irreplaceable..i'm thinking about getting the getbackdata software..on my next paycheck..is it any good..and are there some other ideas I might try before investing in new software or an apple comp...

hp pavilion dv1000, intel celeron (r) m cpu, phoenix bios, toshiba mk8025GAS hd...anyone help please...dont want to lose all my files....

hi there,

if you already set up a new hard disk then

connect the old one to an external casing then retrieve your data
