How to get over this???

hey pls let me come out of this.......when i try to boot my laptop (hp-compaq noetbook 6730s which is having vista originally installed ) with a window xp cd( cd is absolutely fine with other systems as i have seen )....it start loading up the bootable files at first then in the last it shows a blue screen reading like this "YOUR SYSTEM IS BEING SHUT DOWN SO AS TO PROTECT IT FROM ANY DAMAGE. TRY IT AGAIN IF THIS THING HAPPEN AGAIN CHECK FOR VIRUSES OR NEWLY INSTALLED HARDWARES OR RUN CHCKDISK."

i have checked for the viruses and have run chkdsk nothing comes out..........

now pls help abt this so that i can install windows xp on it..........
