flash drive won't open Closed

Question

Hello,
I have an Attache 1G with important project on it.  I have tried plugging into different computers and it won't open.  I tried explore it is not recognized.  I tried disk management it isn't there.  When I plug it in the computers do not recognize it. Help!

if not detected in other computers

Hi if you look into a USB port on a computer then you will see a small hole with either a white or black rectangular piece of plastic seperating the connection terminals. My guess is that you've plugged it into a computer that has lost one of those plastic pieces, physically frying your hard drive. It's happened to me on a number of webcams because my computer is in this state. It just burns the inside of the device and sometimes gives an awfull burning smell!! Sorry for the bad news!!
