What do i need to update ? Do i have to download over the internet ? If yes , could you give me a link to it ??
i too has this problem ;( i cant play games
Set your windows update settings to automatic update and install. That will update your DirectX plus some essential drivers. Next, Buy Uniblue Driver Scanner 2010 (very cheap) and frequently update your drivers.

Hope this helps!!!
My thinkpad with GMA 950 on Mobile Intel 945GM express chipset, 2GB of DDR2 ram, Intel Core Duo t2080 at 1729MHz, windows vista/7 (tested) and Counter Strike 1.6 runs at 100fps on both direct 3D and open GL. Counter strike source runs at 27fps. Download CPUz to see if your CUP is running at 1GHz or 800MHz. 1GHz =1000MHz, make sure coz that is when games run crappy. If so, press f1 or f2 in BIOS and disable (Enhance Intel Speed step technology). If not possible, download a program called "RM clock".
