Windows XP does not understand the Linux partitions on the hard drive. I would download the free copy of "Killdisk" and use it to delete the Linux partitions. Windows XP will load just fine after that.

Just boot from the windows dvd and follow the on-screen instructions to delete the partitions and re create them.
