Not recognising usb ports

Hi I have actually some problems with my computer it wont recognize any usb device that is my external hard disk or my pen drives it will recognize only my usb scanner any solution would be the most welcomed.

Try your external HDD connect with other pC, to makesure that your USB HDD in good condition. Also use the scanner USB cable to connect your HDD, maybe your USB cable got problem. Also try to use your USB HDD cable to connect the scanner.. Good luck
