Cloning problems

Hello,
I cloned one hard drive to another hard ( smaller to bigger) When I take out the old hard drive and put the new one in and make it the master drive the computer does not read it at all. PLease help this is for work and I need to get the new one up and running.

Yes I did. I also took the hard drive and placed in another computer as a secondary drive. The computer saw it that way but when I took out the primary and made the cloned the primary the computer could not see it.

Did you go in and check the BIOS settings to make sure the Motherboard can see the HardDrive?
