WHY WE TURN ON THE COMPUTER SYSTEM PHYSICALLY AND TURN OFF THE COMPUTER SYSTEM LOGICALLY?

because the system needs to shut down a number of programs and save some date before it can be turned off. Turning one the power starts Windows so it can in turn start the multiple processes it needs. Windows 3.1 did not have this feature and people would shut down Windows and then turn off the power too soon. It often resulted in the loss of all program icons on the desktop.
