my pictures are missing. Closed

Hello,

i cut and pasted my pictures from my computer to a brand new cd rom. my cd-rom is a imation cd-r. It doesn't appear in the cd rom and now my pictures are gone both in the cd-rom and my computer. I refreshed, ejected and inserted the disc back into my computer but the pictures are still not in there. Is there any suggestions as to how i can get my pictures back? please help. thanks very much..

I would look in the "Recycle Bin" you pictures should still be there.  When you cut and paste to a CD there is one last step - you need to tell  Windows Explorer to actually write the CD.  Up to that point the files are just queued to write.  Everything is written in one action.
