TV tuner card problem

Hello,
I have a frontec internal tv tuner card.But I can't get sound from it,only if it possible if I change the sound cable from main motherboard pannel to tv tuner card pannel.Can it made possible to get sound connecting the sound cable to main motherboard panel???
