Dell inspiron 1200 factory restore reboot

Hello,

Have a Dell 1200 laptop with XP. Have done a factory software reset using crt and f11 during startup. Eveything reloads fine and I go through the process to restore to the original factory settings. The problem is when the machine is rebooted its goes to the original software problems I had prior to DSR and won't work. Any ideas to help would be apprieciated.
