Hello,im trying to hook up my laptop to my plasma tv i have the VGA cables set up but it still wont work ive tried the fn f8 thing please help

Hi there,
You may follow instructions on link below from Faq to connect laptop to tv,you will have to switch the tv to video or computer mode to get the display or probably the vga cable is not good:
