Restart

Hello,
Morning when i switched on my system, automatically its restarts, 3-4 times it restarst in dat starting XP screen, then next time it was restarts in that blue scan disk screen. i thought it is some virus problem so i planned to format my system, bt that problem is not allowing me to format also. it is sayinfg that "u hv installed a new software or hardware nd i hv 2 remove it" i know how to remove if i enter the xp, bt in this condition i dont know. also i dont want to loose any data from my drive... plz help me out.
