System malfunction

Dear, thanks for bein a helper to some of us pc novice. Please help me,i forgot my password and used ctrl+alt+del.,to access my pc, after choosen guest account,the old account refused to go and my system is now using two accounts,as such, malfunctioning & also denying me access in almost everything i wanna do including changing users account.
