Hi,
I have a compaq presario cq60 with WD SATA scorpio blue HD. came preinstalled with vista. i tried to put XP n but it cant find install files. The vista recovery is gone also. used a vista recovery disk and still wont work. now somethings up with the hard drive, the computer doesnt seem to be recognising it and it says some network cable is unplugged. im tryng to get vista or XP to install on it what should i do???

try out changing the boot preferance to disk drive and the try formating the drive
