Cant install realteck high definition audio

hi,
i hav formatted my laptop lenovo 3000 c200, after formatting i tried to install my drivers from cd but the realteck driver gets installed but it doesnt work nor it is shown in the device manager, but it is shown in the add-remove option. now i cant hear anything.

What is the os installed on it and drivers are for which os?Please give more information.
