Hi All....new to this site and this forum....

I have read through many threads that sound quite similar to my problem and have tried many of the probable resolutions with no luck.

Apologies that i am bringing this to the table again.

I recently started putting together some components into an older system
here are the details:

AOPEN AK75 mainboard (brand new)
AMD Athlon XP2000 CPU (barely used)
512MB DDR266 RAM
MX440 graphics card (GeForce i believe)
120GB 7200 RPM Seagate HDD (Brand new with clean copy XP)

all system components seem to power up no problem however:

No Video - No POST - no system BEEPS at all.

I have tried to remove the ram chip and re-boot and still no system beeps

I have also tried a different graphics card as the mx440 has been known to failure

i have reset CMOS - i think - and even removed the battery for a short period of time

still no luck

I am open to any and all suggestions and your advise is much appreciated.

Thanks

Yes...Tested and no problems.

all wires properly plugged.

the quick install guide and manual made it really easy to install the motherboard
and identify all areas...

everything is correctly setup i am certain.
