I want to make such a formula in excel;

If the value in A column is equal to "+"; then the conditional formatting for the result row should be as;

Result < Target -----> Colour is red

If the value in A column is equal to "-"; then the conditional formatting for the result row should be as;

Result > Target -----> Colour is red

How can I write this formula together with these 2 conditions?

Thanksss

A COLUMN JAN FEB MAR
+ TARGET 41,6 41,6 41,6
RESULT 43,02 43,83 43,75

Not sure what you are asking here

It seem that you would need two conditional formatting formula

select all cells

then go to conditional formatting

enter formula

=A1="+"
and then click on formatting button of the dialogbox and choose color red

then enter another formula in the same way

=A1="-"
and then click on formatting button of the dialogbox and choose the other color
0
