Hi there,

It may be the graphic card itself, try hooking your friends video card or use motherboard integrated one ,feel free to revert back if no joy.

Thanks

yeah we figured it was so i bought a new evga geforce gtx 260. the same results. me and my friends swapped their cards in and amazingly it worked. for some odd reasons the cards i buy wont work with my mobo but they work with my friends?? wtfffffffffff. the computer gods look down on me.
