Wifi problem

i have samsung monte gt s5620.it's a wifi enable mobile i connect dat cell to my wifi modem, & mobile is connected but afterwords there is some error messege come that NO RESPONSE from ur modem.......

Have you ever been successful to connect it to other access points and with your wireless network can other devices be connected?Please give more information,

actually not i have not tried elsewhere wifi. i am just tring to start wifi first in my home bcoz i have wifi modem
