Usb flash drive

i cant open my usb stick anymore!
when i click run, and entered the drive, it is asking me to format the disk. if i do so, what if i lose all data on the disk?

Dear Anne,

There's surely a corrupted file causing the trouble. You will definitely have to format it for having it functioning properly but you will lose the files.

Hi there,

Try to boot in safe mode and open the device,if it was infected and data are unreadable ,you will have no choice then to format it,after formatting you can recover files by recovery software.
