Locked cell and setting set focus in excel

Hello Guys,
How can I locked certain cell/s in excel? I've tried the "Protect Sheet" but all cells in my worksheet were locked. Also, I want to define set focus in a cell in my sheet, is it possible?

You have to unlock the cells and the apply protection to sheet. To unlock cell, go to format
