I phone ( fake) 3G

Hello,

i have a fake i phone 32g bought from Thailand. i have a 3 sim card on a plan. which is not recognised by the phone. when this sim card is in the phone - it says no sim.
everyone else's sim card works in the phone, and other 3 sim cards work in the phone, i
have replaced the 3 sim card and it still does not work. it has been suggested that only older 3 sim cards work, do anyone know how i can get around this?
