Battery not charging

Hello,

I have bought a Dell laptop, but battery not charging though when I connct AC power laptop works but status shoes as plugged in , battery not charging. Laptop can only work on direct power not on battery.

Hi there,

If still on warranty ill advise to send it for repair else you will have to purchase a new battery with own cost.
