RS485/M BR#22568

Hello,

I currently have a dell inspiron 1501 and when i try to power the laptop up, i can't even get to the bios check. the screen flashes a little message: RS485/M BR#22568 for a split second and then stays with a black screen. i can not enter the set up, tried hitting F8 and F12, nothing.

has anyone else ever seen this or had this problem?

Hi There Sorry to hear of your problem I have searched the internet and can't find anything to do with your problem. If I were you I would get on to Dell and see if they can shed any light on the subject.
