Reboot my desk top

Hello, question, is it possible for me to reboot from Laptop to desktop? I have Window2000 on my desktop. I want to reboot or format my window2000 and to download the windo xp or reboot window xp from my laptop to desktop. (I lost my Window Xp home Edition from 2 yrs ago when I moved from one place to another.

Hi there,

Please explain the issue with correct information,you want to format both desktop and laptop and install xp for whic you do not have the installation cd ?is this what you mean?

I had WinXp before but I accidentally formatted with Win2000. So I lost everything from my WinXp, all I have now is Win2000 but doesn't allow me to download Netgear for my wireless Network. I wanted to download WinXp but don't have the disk for it. Can I download XP through
