Blue screen startup problem

Hi, on restarting my Dell XP laptop I get a blue screen with message "stop: 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x862DE248, 0xc0000102, 0x00000000)"
It doesn't respond to mouse/keyboard so I can't do anything.
(obviously, am sending this from another PC).
Grateful for any suggestions.

Hi there,
Boot from your windows installation cd and press R for repairing system using recovery console thus fixing the issue.
