That is easy. Click on the cell wher formula is located,
hit ctrl+1 then click on protection tab from the pop up. and then check the box in ffront of Locked and Hidden respectively. and click on OK, then protect the sheet. The formula will be hidden for view

The pop up Chris is talking about is called "Cell properties". Another way of making it appear is right-clicking a cell(s) and selecting cell properties from the list.
