Wireless keyboard problems

Hello,

The wireless keyboard for my mac stopped working randomly and it does not respond to anything. I have a few ideas for fixing it, the problem is that I need to type in a password in order to get on the computer! Please help...not really sure where to go from here,

First of all make sure you have batteries in it and second make sure the usb thingy is in your computer, third there might be a reconnect button on your keyboard to reconnect the keyboard to the computer

this might not help hopefully it does
I use a pc sadly so im not sure
