Hello, Ive recently got a new laptop had vista taken off an xp put on it but when i got it there were two unknown devices.

Once i installed those i found the security suite and proceded to get it all set up, all was good till i tryed to use the same finger for two users and now it comes up with an lsass.exe is being blocked by dep in windoze. it came and went (depended on how i logged in) and every time it came up it would put it to a 60 second shutdown.

Now if i wait at the ctrl alt del scree it comes up with : the instruction at 0x014e0410 reference memory 0x00000000 the memory could not be written. ok to term or cancel to dubug. now ok terms and cancel goes to vb05 (but gets cought by the 60 sec shutdwn).

I normally like to fix my own but this ones stumped me!!!!

I had a look, but it isnt a bug.

maybe the hp suite is modifying the lsass file and windows actually picks somthing up now?

I seem to have the same problem, also on XP on the compaq 6710b.
It takes al long time after ctrl-alt-del has been pressed when you can finally give in your pasword.
Anyone has a solution?
