Just download aswclear.exe from avast website. It is the Avast uninstall utility. Restart ur comp to safe mode and open aswclear.exe. Choose what program u want to uninstall and proceed.
hello...good day...i try to check regedit in run...but it's said that it has been enabled by administrator...i am the admin of my laptop...where can i find registry editing in my files???help me please..thank you!
I wonder why you chose to uninstall Avast.. If your trial version is running out, you can go to avast website and get your license key for FREE in just a minute. It's very simple really.
However, if you're sure you want to remove it, and are facing problems.
Go to your regedit and remove the keys yourself.
Go to start> Run> type in regedit> HKEY_Local Machine> SOFTWARE >
find the entries for alwil.. and right click and delete that entry.
Do the same for HKEY_Current User... that should solve your problem.
:-)
I would still suggest you to register your avast instead. It's free and effective.
