Hello,

I am not computer literate ,just a grandmother (age 70) trying to fit in today's technical world.I have no sound on my pc. I think I did something to turn it off, but don't know what.

I don't listen to music on the computer, just the news or an occasional card from a friend.

I have been trying to fix this problem for weeks as my local computer person is too busy right now. In trying to make things better I may have made them worse. I am a little apprenhesive about doing this in writing as I often don't know the right words or technical terms to use or understand .

Is there a telephone number where I could talk to someone about my problem .

Thank you . Have a nice holiday season.

Gram

Sorry, I can't divulge my Fone #, but I can try 2 help with your problem .OK, I'm not gonna try 2 guess all that u did. I will however, walk u thru the solution I most recommend with your issue. Click on Start.......All programs............Accessories.............System Tools.........System Restore. When the "Welcome to System Restore" opens, make sure your little GREEN dot at the right of the screen is indicating, "Restore my computer to an earlier time", click Next to continue, then select a Restore point.......Choose 1 that goes back 2 a time b4 all your problems with your sound began, then click next.............etc...............Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!
