Computer doesnt open up

Hello,

My laptop which has XP has been giving problem for a week. It doesnt open up. When I try to start it goes into checking the files and then it tries to start again. THis cycle continues. When I try to open up in the safe mode it opens up only with safe mode and not with network connections. When it is in safe mode, I try to restart, it goes again into the cycle. I would appreciate any help
