I am stuck. Few days ago all my desktop icons vanished on my HP laptop running windows XP and I am unable to start, install, delete, run any program. Even command prompt and task manager is disabled and cd drive also dont open. I was using Mcafee antivirus. My control panel also dont open.
I tried booting from XP installation cd to install new or repair existing OS but it gives me error that my hard disk is blocked.
