Hello,
I have been working on my computer for a day or so now and still do not know what the problem is. I recently reformatted my computer and reinstalled XP Home Edition. I have a ASUS W2N-E motherboard.
I have installed the drivers and the device manager says they are installed and working properly. Though I still do not have any connections in my Network Connections folder. I have tried to create a new one with the wizard, yet it does nothing.
I have read several threads on here and other boards that sorta helped me narrow it down, but this is as far as I have got. I thought that if the driver is installed correctly (which by Device Manager and Modem program says it is), then I should have a Local Area Connection or something.

Did you see your "Local area network" before you re-formatted your hdd?
Check your BIOS setup for network controllers
