Why wont it let me install msn?

Hello, i own a ordinary samsung laptop, it has built in webcam, the first msn made is on this laptop, 'Windows Live' its called, but i want an update? i recently tried installing windows live messenger plus, but it reaches the installing bit and states 'Download failed. Set will now exit' and theres no other option to click except 'Ok', why is this happening? why wont it let me install Windows Live messenger plus?

Hi there,

First remove the previous version of wlm from system,use an uninstaller or zapmessenger to proceed,then after removal download and make clean install of the messenger,use this link to get zapmessenger:
