Partial Match of Names

Hello,

On Excel, I have two seperate spreadsheets. The first is with a list of names, and the second with a list of names and emails. The second list contains a complete list of names (column A) and email addresses (column) - but I do not want the whole thing, only the ones that are on the first spreadsheet. Hence I would like to just get the emails using the first list. Also, I am not sure if the names on the first list are an exact match of those on the second list, so is there such thing as a partial match?

Could anyone describe how to go about doing this?
