Need help reinstalling DirectX Closed

Question

Hello, 

I made the mistake of getting a software from the net called DirectX Eradicator to remove my version of DirectX in hopes of being able to install 8.1 subsequently. I realize now I should have got a rollbak program instead.

I have since been to the microsoft site to download a full package of DirectX runtime installer but the install process fails on me.

Can any experts help me out with advice?

Hi there,

Make use of an uninstaller and remove the previous version completely then download and reinstall new version of direct x,have the uninstaller on link below:
